How email brings you closer to the guy in the next cubicle

This Wired.com article highlights the importance of email and other online social networking resources. It explains that online social networking and email are valuable supplements to face-to-face communication in the workplace today. Some may think email is replacing face-to-face communication and telephone conversation, however, this article is saying email is also encouraging other forms of communication.
An article such as this is very relevant to other students in IMS201C because our generation is utilizing social networking websites and email everyday. Email will become an even larger part of our lives after graduation. This article explains that in our first jobs, email will actually strengthen our relationships with our co-workers.
